Hi, I'm using CBsubs and hence controlling tabs.

Can a same field (e.g. Username) appear in more than 1 tab?

nope - but you can use a delimiter field to do this.

Thanks Nant, I managed to do that with delimiter. While it works, there is an alignment problem i.e. The "Value" appears higher (horizonal alignment) than the "Title"

Similarly, in edit mode for text boxes and radio buttons, the values appear lower than the boxes and buttons. Is this a known issue? It happens to the default joomla template as well.

I'm using the latest versions for all. This wasn't a problem previously in joomla 1.7

Seams to be displaying perfectly fine. Please provide a screenshot of what you're experiencing. Of course they won't be aligned pixel by pixel as they're completely different elements (text, divs, spans, inputs, etc..) and you can only see the difference if you put a rule on the screen and review pixel by pixel.

attached is the screenshot. so are those considered acceptable standard? the ones inside joomlapolis do not look that bad.

No that's not normal. You've something loading in CSS that's changing the size of your inputs. Can't tell you where it's coming from without a URL and login credentials (please send via PM).
