Sorry for the wait. This has now been fixed in latest CB Connect build release.
There's some good news and some bad news. Good news is avatar synchronizes fine. Bad news is Facebook has deprecated A LOT of their API. It is no longer possible to get a users cover image so the canvas will not be synchronized and it is no longer possible to link to their Facebook profile from an ID so the Facebook ID field will no longer link to their profile. In addition to this a lot of permissions and fields were deprecated by Facebook so you may want to recheck your field mapping if you were mapping any extra fields.
