Sorry, it took me awhile to get back here.. I am still unable to get a query out..
I have enabled debug and i got this error:
Fatal error: Class 'cbDatabase' not found in /var/www/html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbqueryfield/cbqueryfield.php on line 74
The following parameters are used:
Query:
Mode: External
Host: 30.30.5.71
username: username
password: password
Database: testdatabase
charset: (left blank)
Table Prefix: (left blank)

Looks like there's a bug with external database usage. Have fixed for next nightly release.
