You were right, it was really a problem of term in xml file of the french plugin : "Francais" instead of "French" in the tag <name>.

Is it normal that the accented character won't work in the supplied translated plugin? I have try to put some, but I get weird characters. File is UTF-8

Well I have the same problem and cannot have any translation in french also

We paid for it and would need at least some support for it

I tried to modify the french file as attached without any success until now
