Hi,

I want to show my own custom icon for the radio button gateway presentation as the existing images are not sufficient.

I configured the Paypal gateway, put some HTML code referencing an image into the setting 'Label of Recurring Payments radio:'
Paypal <img src='images/checkout/paypal.png'>

Then I unselected all other images. However on save I get the following:
  • Test 'Paypal' and the custom image are shown properly
  • Mastercard and Visa icons are shown ?!?

On editing the payment gateway again I can see that the checkboxes for the Mastercard and Visa icon are checked again.

Where can I fix this?

You need to supply an image path or text for "Custom Payment Button Text or Image" and/or "Custom Subscription Button Text or Image" then it outputs your custom text or image instead of the radio selection above it. Also ensure "Choose payment method" within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Baskets is set to "Choose payment method by showing all buttons available for payment".

I am sorry but that only works with 'normal payments buttons' but not with payments type selection by radio buttons.

Payment type selection using radio button is essential for us because in Germany there is a rule that there needs to be a final button named 'Buy now' in the buying process.

For radio usage you need to do the same for "Custom Payment Button Text or Image" and "Custom Subscription Button Text or Image" within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Baskets, but you need to supply a valid URL and not HTML. You can also configure the confirm payment and free trail buttons from the same location.

Payment type selection using radio button is essential for us because in Germany there is a rule that there needs to be a final button named 'Buy now' in the buying process.

This is always the case. If you're accepting online payments you click the payment button and it goes to the credit card form to finalize. If you're using PayPal then it goes to PayPal to finalize. There's always 2 steps.

krileon, I have set in "Custom Payment Button Text or Image" and "Custom Subscription Button Text or Image" the text 'Buy now'

And that is appearing fine. That's not the problem.

The problem is with the payment gateways. If the 'choose payment gateway by radio button" setting is activated then for each payment gateway images are shown that I don't want, even if it select to NOT show any image at all.

See attached image when editing the Paypal gateway. I uncheck the Mastercard/Visa icons and save. After reloading the page they are checked again.

I see, was able to confirm your issue and have created a bug ticket for further investigation for next release. I don't have a workaround at this time other than not using radio display and supplying a custom payment image for non-radio usage.
