With all due respect, but that workaround is not viable for me (as I explained previously) so I would appreciate a quicker solution than "next release" unless "next release" is like sometime next week.

Where can I see the ticket?

There is no other workaround. It's bugged and needs to be investigated and fixed. That's the best I can suggest at this time. CBSubs tracker is private as we've sensitive data present on it. We'll be focusing on CBSubs 3.0.1 to fix all critical bugs directly after CB 2.0 goes stable.
