Ok, I'm seeing the exact same error response in testing. It would appear something has absolutely changed on PayPal's end. I'll be doing the best I can to try and have this fixed ASAP.

Ok, this is now working fine. So there seams to be some sort of sporadic issue going on at PayPal with this legacy API. I'm implementing a fallback to NVP/SOAP API GetTransactionDetails to help deal with this. You'll need to be sure you've configured the API credentials in your CBSubs PayPal gateway for it to work though so I recommend doing that to prepare for the fallback fix.

Ok, a new CBSubs build release is now available with fallback to NVP/SOAP API to verify PDT transactions. Please be sure within your CBSubs PayPal gateway you have "PayPal API credentials (optional)" configured for this fallback to work. This should help with those PDT failing. I've also already started development of the new PayPal implementation using latest REST API and their JavaScript SDK.

Just an update. I've officially completed the new PayPal gateway and it's currently undergoing review. We've a strict review process for it as well as testing to do so it maybe another week before it's available.

The new PayPal gateway utilizes latest Rest/SDK APIs. Includes support for on-site popup, on-site credit card form, and off-site hosted payments. Recurring payments are also supported out of the box (on-site popup only as the other 2 payment methods do not support subscriptions). Dispute handling and refunds also handled. This new gateway officially will replace all 3 of our other current PayPal gateways.

I'll let everyone know when this is available via new blog post and of course new stable CBSubs release.
