What is the version of your webhooks? Within your Stripe dashboard you can find the version in Developers > Webhooks > Your Webhook > Overview and on the right side you should see "API version". You may need to update the version under Developers > Webhooks > Overview though as we currently can't version webhooks to our specific release without creating the webhooks programmatically from within CBSubs, which we don't currently have a way to do.

It was set as:

2020-03-02

but I've updated it to:

2026-01-28.clover

Resending the webhook returns "webhook skipped: handling for this event is not implemented"

I've had to update his expiry date manually so I can get on with other things.

Ok, then yeah that was likely the issue as your webhook version is very out of date. In a future release we'll have CBSubs Stripe automatically generate and maintain the webhook for you.

Resending the webhook returns "webhook skipped: handling for this event is not implemented"

Whatever webhook you resent isn't one we use. The following at the webhooks CBSubs Stripe is listening for.

charge.refunded
charge.succeeded
charge.failed
charge.dispute.created
charge.dispute.closed
payment_intent.succeeded
payment_intent.payment_failed
checkout.session.completed
invoice.payment_succeeded
invoice.payment_failed
customer.subscription.deleted

Note you should configure your webhook at Stripe to only send those as well.

I've had to update his expiry date manually so I can get on with other things.

That should be fine, but you will be missing the payment row so your analytics in CBSubs will be a little off as long as that's ok.

It's odd as I have never received any notifications about webhook updates from Stripe. Didn't even know it was a thing.

I'll try again with the resending when I have a moment.

The analytics are not a problem. I try to keep the client out of such areas

Sorry, back again.

Another member has a sub showing expiry in the next couple of days, CB shows Active - Autorenewal but there's no equivalent sub in Stripe. Should there be or do I need to create one? 

We had an issue with turning on/off/on the auto-renewal a year ago and this might have caused this issue.
