Edit:
I'm on a brand new setup of Joomla 1.5.10, with CB 1.2.1, and I just tried to install plug_cbprofilebook_1_2_RC2.zip and it won't install. I get a red bar message that says "Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."

Hard for me to troubleshoot if I can't even get it installed. ;)

Also difficult to install a CB plugin using Joomla installer.

CB Plugin Management should be used.

Well....that wasn't my post. I have been trying to install the plugin with the CB installer not the Joomla. That poster has solved his issue.

Woops! My apologies. I'm somewhat new with Joomla with regard to what extensions can do, and didn't realize that an extension(such as Community Builder) can be robust enough to have it's own Plug-in management system, with it's own Install/Uninstall system.

Yeah, I just installed it now using CB installer, and it installed just fine.

Here is my phpinfo report (for my local development server here). Not sure what we would look for when comparing the two reports--some type of differences regarding XML.
