Encoding errors when importing via cbjuice was created by jsanchez_dha
Hi,

I am importing a .csv file using cbjuice. My encoding is UTF-8 and MySql database is configured to be spanish(es-utf-8) also in my hosting. Everything seems to be correct... However, I get strange characters after a cbjuice import.

Will you please be so king to give any help?

Thanks in advance.

You probably edited the csv with an older version of excel. Excel does not understand utf-8. It is always safest to use either Libreoffice or some other utf-8 friendly program. Use Notepad to save your CSV file explicitly in UTF-8 (Option in save as). Try loading that.
