[SOLVED] unwanted subscription page redirects

14 years 5 months ago #116092 by womanlinks
We just installed CB Subs 1.0.3 on a site using Community Builder 1.2.1, Jobs 1.0.13, Joomla running in Legacy mode

We have two subscription plans set up with CB Subs, both are free, one is a lifetime subscription and the other has a two-month lifespan.

The setup went smoothly and we have a registration form presenting both choices that works.

We have found, however, that once someone logs in to an account (either subscription type) links that point to anything except the Community Builder profile redirect to the subscription registration page.

The urls coded into the navigation point to the correct place, but for some reason everything is redirecting.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Check By Menu for each plan under Integrations followed by Content. Then check By URL Part on the Extensions tab in Integrations for the plan. Ensure you've not protected critical menu items or URLs to cause users to be sent to registration page. Also at registration page is a plan presented and checked? If so they check that plan as it's the one protecting your destination. If you're using protection for a Free Lifetime plan it will not give access regardless of user subscribing unless you enable Free Lifetime subscriptions; see CBSubs Settings followed by Global tab.
