missing plan after expiry

missing plan after expiry was created by 3cellhosting
OK - I have checked the manual. I have looked for the usual culprits for missing plans - e.g. auto recurring setting. I still have an odd situation.

I have a parent plan with one child. The child is not mandatory.

Member has valid parent plan but expired child plan. When going to profile (either front end as member or back end as admin) there is no sign of the child plan - expired or otherwise.

I checked for other members with same plans and status - a total of 3 including the first problem. Of the other 2 members one matches the problem. The other shows the parent as active and then shows the child as expired with a check box to renew.

Any ideas why I get two different scenarios from identical plans?

No idea, can sometimes happen if you edited the plan after users have already subscribed creating different subscription scenarios for different users. Please examine your plans closely as something is likely not configured correctly. The user would not be upgrading, but rather Renewing; so please examine the Pricing tab to ensure you've not limited consecutive renewals or anything of the sort.
