LDAP and password field in "edit details" view

13 years 4 months ago #146723 by efestione
Hi all,
I have just linked my joomla1.5.22-cb1.2.3 installation with our LDAP server throught the joomla LDAP authentication plugin.
I have hidden all cb field profile but I am non able to hide the password fields (password and repeat password).
So when I log on site and access user modify link (to change my avatar for example) I still seeing both password fields editable, but this is wrong beacuse I would change password via LDAP and not via Joomla.
How Can I hide these fields?

Thank you

No, name, password, username, and email fields should always be displayed as they are core fields. You could use CSS to hide it I suppose though. You could also try using documentation subscriber CB Privacy plugin to remove it from profile edit. You could also try setting the password field to Read Only by editing it in Field Management.
