[SOLVED] Error when clicking registration email link

CB 1.3.1

I have my registration settings as shown in the attached jpg. I want users to verify the email address, then have the pending registration emailed to me for approval.

When checking it (by registering as a test user), I received the email confirmation, but when I clicked the link I get the message shown below. I never received the pending registration email on the admin account.

Breadcrumbs: Home CB User Profile

You are not authorized to view this page! :

You need to logout. !

The link in the email was: (preceded by the domain name and index.php)

option=com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=regcd263162c7200849db3ada41a5655d4809a0d99c&Itemid=122

Sounds like you either do not have a PUBLIC menu item (mandatory) for CB or you have changed some of the core CB plugins from PUBLIC to registered.

The CB User Profile is set as public on a menu. I have that menu module set to a position that does not exist (hiddenmenu) but the module is published.

I attached my settings for the tabs (jpg). Everything that is turned on is set to Everybody.

I tried the registration again and still get the same error.

OMG - I just noticed this!

It looks like you were testing the registration process and you clicked on the confirmation link while you were already logged in the site.

The registration process on your website works just fine - I just tested it (you can remove user nant if you want).
