I have just installed Joomila! 1.6 and CB 3.1.1

Environment Info:

Database Version: 5.0.91-community
Database Collation: utf8_general_ci
PHP Version: 5.2.11
Web Server: Apache
WebServer to PHP Interface: cgi
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.6.0 Stable [ Onward ] 10-Jan-2011 23:00 GMT
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 SUSE/3.6.13-0.2.1 Firefox/3.6.13


I have followed the installation directions.

When I try to register I do not get an email with a link to complete the registration. But do get a Red message on the profile input page that says the db is ok. When I try to login I get a Red message that tells me I must complete the registration. At this point I get an email and click on the complete registration link. I am redirected to a page that tells me I cannot access the page and that I must complete the registration and I find a second registration email.

The user does not show up in the CB users-management. So ...

I can use PhpMyAdmin to delete the user record and then clean up the db using the tools in CB. Syncronize and then check users. This removes the incomplete user and then can do the process again.

CB 1.3.1 has some issues with Joomla 1.6.0.

There will be a CB 1.4 released (first as RC to Professional members and then publicaly to everyone) that will address these issues.

Do you suggest that I install Joomila! 1.5 for now or is this fix happening soon?


Are there workarounds for now? What kind of time frame do you anticipate?

There are some posts that contain some workarounds if you want to apply them.

We are working on internal builds as we speak - sorry I cannot offer any time-frames.
