How to mass e-mail users? was created by rawex
Hi,

I would very much like to grant each registered and accpeted user to write e-mails to all other users. How can I do that? How can I set up a mass mail functionality? Do you know a way, how I could proceed?

Thank you very much,
Kelley

This is currently not possible. You can either use mailman and the mailman hack or make code a custom joomla component for this.

rawex,

Both Mambo and Joomla have the mass mail capability but I think you missed the point. The mass mail is in the back end and he wants all registered users to be able to mass mail which is not viable unless you want to make them all admins and give them access to the backend.

Joomla! 1.0.7 Stable

Thanks for your replies. I am using Mambo 4.5.2 for that specific installation and will try mailman soon.

Many greetings,

Where do I get the mailman component and the hack? I have looked on mamboforge.net and joomlaforge.net

Any ideas?
Thanks, Kelley
