Upgrade subscription failed on IE 7, 8, 9

12 years 2 months ago #191372 by adwmiedge
Hello,

I've CBSub 1.2.2 installed on CB 1.7, Joomla 1.5.23

I've built 52 plans to allow user make subscription.
The non-IE users (FF, Chrome) can upgrade subscriptions after he create a new subscription, and payment gateway is Authorize.Net with Auto Recurring Billing.

But the IE (7, 8, 9) users are not able to upgrade their subscription. After they select a subscription to be upgraded, then the billing appeared (see attach file "Billing.jpg"). But when they click on a Credit Card (ex: America Express card), the screen displaying

Payment basket does not login.
No suitable basket found.

When i check the History & Log, i found the "Payment baskets" and all "User subscriptions" are automatically deleted after inserted. (see attach file "HistoryLog.jpg")

Please advice how this happen

Thanks

Don't see how this could be a browser related issue as it's just a normal HTML form posting to a gateways page. Please upgrade to CB 1.7.1 and confirm if issue persists.

I found that there is a plugin K2 in my Joomla. Once i disabled the plugin, the user can upgrade subscription by IE normally.
I'm working more on investigating how the K2 plugin conflict with CB Subs (on IE)

If it's a System plugin then it maybe using one of the after render triggers that could be intercepting and trying to alter the page. Some extensions provide IE compatibility fix where they load in different Javascript or other related code for their extension to work in IE; can't say for sure, but am certainly interested in whatever your findings may be. I do recommend contacting K2 as they may know more of what is happening.
