I am using an events component that offers ticket discounts to members in particular groups. The groups are based on the Joomla groups. I want to use CBSubs to add members to the required group when registered to a plan so they automatically get the discounts and remove them from the group on plan deactivation.

I can get the user to be added and removed from the group by putting my custom "Members" group under "Registered" however when I do this, my events component seems to apply the coupon to users in the registered group as well.

I can make it work by putting members group under "Public" which means users are added to the correct group but messes up the plan deactivation.

Is there a way to resolve this using the cbsubs component, any additional addon or a trigger with autoactions plugin?
