Hi there!
I know I can predefine a field value by manipulating the database. So if there are two options for a question I can go into database and already activate on of the options, so the user has to make up his mind on registration and so that the option is not left empty...

Now i want to go a step further and already have an example text in a textarea but not have it saved if the user does not enter his own text... meaning the text should not be like real text but as an example to give the user an idea how it could be formated.
ONLY if he focuses the field the text should dissappear to let him enter his own text which is then actually displayed on his profile......

how can i do that?
