For previous version there was a language file in:
components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbprofilegallery/language

In the new one I can't find any. Where to place a language file?

Great. Here are some more details if someone else too is looking too:

Language for the CB Team releases are found in the same file:
cbteamplugins_language.php

It has to be replaced in those two folders:
/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/yourlanguage
/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language

Also, there may be some to fix if you have a file yourlanguage.php in the folder
/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/yourlanguage that may need your translation after installing a new plugin.
