I didn't like the translation much, there were several things not really right imho so here's my version if someone finds it of any use

Thanks to all and more specificaly Elefantman for his file which works the best for me (Joomla!1.5.3 and CB rc1.2).

I would like to make some final correction (for �).
I worked on french.php and then put it on my website but I still have � instead of french accent.

Do I forget to correct another file ? or maybe it's not possible to correct just one file ?

That's only because you have 1.2 RC,
and this is for 1.2

So, if you want to test it, just unzip and put the french directory in /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/

Please send me any remarks you may have on the translation.

same problem for me.
I downloaded the file nick is suggesting, installed it, published it, and things remain in english.

it stays in english even i have french in the user profile and french in joomfish language selection.

any idea ?
