Workaround password in confirmation email was created by RobinReumers
I saw this topic: www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,38/func,view/id,76119/catid,65/

However, I can't seem to find the workaround, details works fine but is there any way to get the password working in RC3?

I think I have the same problem.

Quote Beat: "Only workaround for CB 1.2 RC 3 is to use [DETAILS], which contains username and email in additon of password."

The workaround doesn't work for me, Email sent contains username and email, but not password.

My settings
1. Autogenerate password is set to "no".
2. Require admin approval is set to "no".
3. Require email confirmation is set to "yes".

Can somebody help please.

It is simply not possible to send password via mail confirmation; not via [PASSWORD] (= identified issue) but also not via [DETAILS] !

This problem prevents me from putting my site on-line.

Thanks already.

In the workaround thread , beat mentioned this being fixed in the next release. Did that happen in RC4?
