im using Translation Manager . I use it to translate my modules and components in J1.5. I translate my contents manually.
Thank u for pointing that out. As I said, i've never used JomFish before. This topic had gone unanswered for quite a time, and i just fear that it might just evaporize without any real solution....

So that is how one should use JomFish AND CB.Making a joomFish XML file for fields and tabs titles and descriptions translation can be done by anyone.
