No sir - CB 1.8 works just fine on all Joomla versions.

CB is free - you can download it and install it on any Joomla version.

You inquired about the CB Captcha plugin (this thread is about CB Captcha), and I replied about this.

Community Builder is free - you can download CB 1.8 and install it on a Joomla 2.5 website and use it for free.

This means you have something else installed that does not work on Joomla 2.5.

A simple test for you would be to create a new Joomla 2.5 environment and install CB 1.8 over it - you will see that it works just fine.

So, you have installed something else (perhaps a CB plugin) that is not Joomla 2.5 compatible.

And I am guessing that perhaps you started from a Joomla 1.5 website and migrated to Joomla 2.5?
