Hello for a website i am building i am trying to figure out how i can restrict user profiles to a select group level in Joomla.

For creating new user levels i am using JACL.

For example under registered users i create
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3

Only users of Level 1 should be able to see Level 1 profiles

In that order. Can this be achieved?

On emore interesting thing that i am looking for in CB is can a notification email be sent to all users on a level when a new user registers at that level?

Please help! This could improve CB functionablity a lot!

Neither of these functions are currently supported. When ACL comes to Joomla Core, CB will most likely support that.

What about with using JACL? The jbridge project might allow this?

I am using JACL but that doenst help as the CB admin only allows profile permissions to be set in common for all profiles. not for individual profiles.
