Emails don't send the language translations

Emails don't send the language translations was created by carlosleon0615
Hi,

Under the "Presentation" tab of my plans, I set the "Email on first activation" section to the following:

Subject: ThankYou_EmailSubject
Body: ThankYou_EmailBody

I defined those "place-holder" strings in the language files:
"ThankYou_EmailSubject" => "Your subscription is now active"
"ThankYou_EmailBody" => "Thank you for subscribing!"

The emails are sent with the "place-holder" strings and Not with the actual translations!

So the subject reads: ThankYou_EmailSubject
And the body reads: ThankYou_EmailBody

This is a big deal for me. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Carlos

Did you put the language strings in CBSubs language file or CBs language file?

Trying to find a workaround, I tried the following which would actually work maybe even better for me:

- CBSubs' "Allow Free Registered Users" = NO
- Plans do NOT send Emails on Activation
- CB Welcome email set to use translation strings

This way, user only gets 1 email with their registration info Plus telling them that their subscription is active.

I defined my custom Email language string in CB's default_language.php and in spanish.php.

HOWEVER, the "Welcome Email" is always sent in the default language (English) and NOT in the language selected by the user upon registration (through the Joomfish module). :(

So, translation strings don't seem to work in the CB's Welcome email either!

Do you know if I'm doing something wrong? How can I send the Welcome Email in the language selected by the user when registering?

Thanks,

Carlos
