I plan to use CB Subs as a bill payment solution, so will only be using the donation features. There will be just one plan, so when a user goes to view their CB profile they will see a list of plans that displays just the one donation option, however it is a radio button and is not selected by default.
It is the only plan, and is also set as the default, and really ought to be selected automatically so all the user has to do is enter an amount and click Donate. As it is, they could enter and amount and try to click Donate, but are told to go back and try again, because they did not select that radio button. I know of a way to select the button using JavaScript, but it is not ideal.
This is the error message people get if they troy to just enter a donation amount and click Donate without also selecting the radio button:
"Chosen plans combination is not allowed (you must choose coherent plans selection, e.g. mandatory subscription(s) must be active or mandatory plan(s) must be chosen).
Please press back button and select the subscription plan to which you would like to upgrade."
So as you can see, no plan was selected, but by typing in an amount, the radio button should be automatically selected - it should receive focus without forcing the user to select that radio button. In fact, it would be nice to hide the radio button entirely, but I will probably do that with CSS later on.
This is a usability issue but I think it deserves some attention.
