I need help with translation was created by vortex71
Hi,
I need to translate my CB site. I downloaded and installed the language plug but the front-end is not showing the translation.
I also installed Joomfish...but with no result on CB. Joomfish translation is working for instance when I disable CB LOGIN the translation works for the normal LOGIN modul and than when I enable CB LOGIN, and of course disable the normal LOGIN module , Joomfish translation isn't working again...isn't that funny ...sotry but I don't feel like laughing.

Do I have to enalbe it somehow or to set it up as a default language ...how this should be done?

I'm not good with PHP or HTML codes ...so I need a more "human" method .
Thank you in advance!

What are you trying to translate... the Front Page, your profiles? The CB translations only translate CB and its translations. You'll need separate plugins for other extensions and Joomla itself if you want other things translated.

Hi
Thanks for your prompt reply, ...I need to translate CB part of the site ( front end ). Isn't CB working with joomfish? according to CB documentation -language plugs- it should .

I would appreciate a quick answer...
Thanks again

What frontend part are you trying to translate? As far as I remember from when I used JoomFish, Joomfish only translates content and Joomla core plugins and modules. The CB profile and plugin translations are located in the CB language files as per the documentation.

yes ...I went into that folder /public_html/mysitename/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/romanian ..and the only think I see is Romanian.php(85,538) ; Romanian.xlm (1.091 ) , calendar-locals.js (3.631 ); an file : index.html and a folder named images...so now what:unsure:

I just want to have my users able to work with Romanian language while setting up their profile...so the name of the tabs and other option I would like them to be in Romanian.
If necessary I can go into some file and translate myself ...but I don't know where:) ...
thank again for your support
