Hi,

I want to make the following field for when somebody registers with CB/CBSubs: I want to have a person choose the option which Group he wants to join.

I would need a field (dropdownbox) which populates itself using a database field from GroupJive.

Any directions on how to make this?

You would need to create a new field type and also create the code to handle inserting the user into the group.

Please review cb.core.php for help on creating new field types.

Creating a new field type is no easy task. It will take extensive development knowledge (which is why we provide a large array of field types by default). Examining cb.core.php will help greatly in understanding how such a plugin needs to be structured.

hi i have a problem i cannot receive a welcome message after registration. i set the Require Email Confirmation to no...is it necessary to be yes if i want to receive a welcome message?or i cant receive a message without setting the Require Email Confirmation to yes?thank you...
