We're having a heck of a time.

Tuesday our whole Joomla 1.5/CB/CBSubs site came crashing down. Following a restore from a week ago, we receive the following message:

joomla/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/cbpaidsubscriptions.php has expired

I can't have expired, since I'm a super-admin and am not configured to expire.

But we can't even get into Joomla at all to check on the status of modules, components or anything else. We get an internal server error when we try to go into /admin.

We probably need someone to take a look at index.php so see what looks like a potential hack or issue there, since the regular Joomla pages don't load either.

Ideas?

Sounds like your installation was compromised. I recommend creating a fresh installation as long as your database has not be compromised. There's not much we can do if you've no access. You should review security logs as well to see what happened. Re-installing Joomla on top of it self will clear any hacks, but you should also examine folder structures to ensure nothing is there to re-add the hacks.
