Forgive me if this is possible, but I've spent all this morning trying to figure this out and I'm about to give up!:

What I want to do is to alter the sign up process to include extra pages of informaion. (This is not a simple 'add a new field' to the form type request)

Basically I need to ability to trigger a plugin thats registered to 'onAfterUserRegistration' and then analyse the result of the plugin and redirct to a given page if required. E.g. perform a search on the users location and recommend a club, if no club is found present a form where they can fill it in.

Ideally you should be able to chain the plugins together - only going onto process a new plugin when the current one has a completed status of 1.

Any thoughts on if this is possible ?

Yes, just send a redirect header and die.

You can also check my extended selects-plugin, it might work for you. (my server will come online later this week)
