[SOLVED] Unwanted info displayed on Subscription form

13 years 5 months ago #146464 by dwaine
My last post had the wrong image. I will try one more time...

I have a CB Subs 1.0.3 install and set up 4 Subscription Plans with PayPal Gateway. I have a 4 field registration form that prospects fill in just before going to the PayPal Gateway. When they fill in the form they get the correct payment summary and a button to pay for the subscription, but also an area with blank "invoicing" information. I want to get rid of this whole area but can't see where it is generated in CB Subs or in PayPal

To hide the invoice address please perform the following configuration.

CBSubs > Settings > Display > Invoices
Invoicing address handling at payment time: No invoicing address shown

To do the configuration below,is that in CBSubs module, or one of the CBSubs Plug ins? I cannot seem to find a Settings > Display >Invoices path on any of the Plug ins or the Module or in CB Configuration Manager.

Maybe I am missing a plugin? I have installed and published CB profile Gallery, CB Core, CB Menu, CB Connections, CB Paid Subscriptions, CBSubs Fields Tabs Protect, CBSubs Folder Access, CBSubs Plan Image, CBSubs CB Field, CBSubs Content, CBSubs URL, CBSubs Email.

Also I have the CB Subscriptions module where I have checked "no" on "Display unpaid invoices?". And the cbsubspaidbot.

Still can't find the path below.

Thanks for your help.

Below is the path from backend root. I highly recommend reviewing your CBSubs documentation (best results is to read it multiple times) as all configuration settings are explained in detail.

Joomla Backend > Components > Community Builder > Plugin Management > CB Paid Subscriptions > Settings > Display > Invoices

I have read several times the applicable sections of the PDF document (but not all 277 pages). I have taken the path you state and seen that screen many times and the "Show invoices" was always checked "no" (see screen shot below). So my brain did not register it as the correct path. And this setting did not work.

But you are right, once you know to start at "CB Paid Subscriptions" (not "CBSubs"), you can find the field, but it won't do you any good.

What I did find though, was your suggestion on another post to add a css style

#cbregTitle {
visibility: hidden;
}

To get rid of a different annoying display.

To that I added

.cbfieldset_invoicing_address {
visibility: hidden;
height: 5px;
}

and this worked.

Maybe someone else can benefit from this.

"Show invoices" was always checked "no"

Set Show invoices to Yes, then Invoicing address handling at payment time: to No invoicing address shown, then Show invoices back to No. This should resolve your issue.
