because its free. I had payed for three years for a membership at joomlart.com and used the membership only for the initial download. So i looked now for a useful Joomla 1.5 template for free - and found that in the quasar-template.

You'll then need to renew and ask the developers for assistance; we certainly will not be debugging and fixing a 3rd party template, sorry. Alternatively you can find a template that is not JS heavy or does not have incorrect conflicting JS.

I had not asked for debugging and fixing - i only had asked if the error is known. I now changed the field to a multiselect - field which works in IE8 and FF.

Best regards
Siegfried

Dear Siegfried,

I`d like to know how you fixed this, would you please share this? I think i`m having the same problem using the 'lost password/username function' from the MOD_CBLOGIN module.

The IE8 plugin I had running ( was using this for a problem with Kunena 1.6) was causing the problem. After deleting this plugin all was working fine on IE and FF.

Good luck!
