Have tried default template, no editors, everything that seemingly could be related to the issue... no change in behavior.
Field is a simple Text Box with Company Name in it.
Testing with A Dummy Company<br />Line 2 always results in the <br /> being stripped out.
URL is: www.fpinl.com?cid=1000004
In desperation, I made a second line for the Company Name as a separate field but I know down the road, having this resolved will be important somewhere or other.
I appreciate any assistance you can give getting to the bottom of the issue.

What you are experiencing is intentional. Text fields can't have HTML. You need to use textarea or textarea editor field types to support HTML.

Users experiencing this issue any further should ensure their CB and Joomla releases are up to date. There is no known issue with tooltips in CB 1.3.1. Closing as solved.
