I'm the author of mod_birthdays and I would definitely like to see an easier date input...people get confused and set their birthdates to 2006. It'd would be nice if you could warn people who set their ages to less than 10 years that they've probably got it wrong.

this is great! nice to have the option for the popup calendar but not to be forced into it.
