Hmmm...ok. So I have only seen the code appear in both the Community Builder and uddeIM front-end parts of our site and not any other parts of our website that use 3rd party extensions. I wonder now if I should be posting these questions in the Joomla forums instead?

EDIT: 9:01 p.m. (Central Time)

I think I may be narrowing down the root of the problem here. Once signed into my profile on our church website (front end), I went to the screen where I can update my details...such as my name, e-mail address, change my password, etc. I decided to take a look at the actual code for the page, and it appears there may be a conflict with the RS Firewall software we recently installed. Here is a portion of what I'm seeing for the first "Email" text field:

<td class="fieldCell" id="cbfv_50"><input type="text" name="email" id="email" value="<img src="/alc/index.php?option=com_rsfirewall&task=cloak&string=aG9 ...

Looks like I may need to consult other folks to get this situation resolved (?).

If its a conflict, then you should be able to reproduce this on a clean Joomla/CB/RS firewall environment. If you can reproduce it, then it would be easier to get relevant parties to assist you.

No one can really assist you on your current environment since it is the result of a hacked site.

I just wanted to give a quick update as I have now solved the problem. With some help from a user on the RS Joomla forums, I was able to get this resolved.

So, if anyone is reading this, the simple answer was that our new RS Firewall has a setting within the configuration of the software in the back-end admin pages to turn the e-mail addresses text into images. This setting was turned on...which in turn, was why I was seeing the code in and next to the textboxes where a user could update his/her own e-mail address in the profile screen. By turning this feature off in RS Firewall, the issue corrected itself, and the e-mail address field displayed the e-mail address...nothing else.

Thanks again for helping me try to solve this.
