online status not working?

online status not working? was created by mtl83
I have noticed recently that the CB user list doesn't show when a member is online. I'm not sure if this is a CB issue, because my site back end never shows logged in users either. Does anyone know what's causing this?

Are you able to provide a screenshot or link to the issue exactly? Online status appears working fine in all my tests. Possible there is a configuration issue. Is the online status field on a published and public tab?

Thanks for having a look. I can't figure this out! As I say, even the Joomla back end shows that no users are logged in, including admin when i'm obviously logged in.

Please disable SEF and switch to default Joomla template. Does login via Joomla show users are online (instead of using CB Login module). Could be a problem with your sessions especially if backend is not showing you're not logged in. What is your session duration and method in Joomla global configuration?

Login via joomla shows users offline. Session duration is 15 minutes and method is DB.
