Registration failing

Hi,
I was using 1.2 without any problem, but since I started using 1.3, I have been unable to register any users through the front-end. The registration fails citing:
Email : This is not a valid email address.
Password : Password and verification do not match, please try again.
Mobile : Not an integer
Classification : This field is required!
THe problem being that I have default values set for Classification, I enter only a full number for mobiles and paswwords match. Not to mention that the email address is also one I use regularly.
Could someone please help me out on this urgently?
