Get error in IE can't send mail to user
Session timed out. Your email failed to send! Please try again.
User is still logged in really so session isn't really timed out.
Works fine in firefox

Sorry, you'd provided no information such as version or where you're even getting this message at. What are you emailing from? Where? What Joomla version? Etc... Please see help us help you within my signature for proper debug procedures.

Clear cache and cookies in IE 8 all is fine now. Must of been a conflict on the server side with cookies last night because I did this.
Anyway if anyone has problems with sending mail from member to member clear cache in ie 8 and on your server.
