By URL parts does not work

Are you only having this problem with GJ 2.0 links? Is By Part URL not working at all? Is the CBSubs Content plugin public and published? The following is the correct base structure for the URL. Please ensure you're not testing this with an administrator account, logout and attempt to access to GJ again.

option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbgroupjive

It is very very likely CBSubs can not protect "External" URLs. You are forced to make external URLs to GJ as there is no code to add Internal for plugins. This will be fixed with RC6 of GJ 2.0 where internal URLs will be capable of being created.

Please note, do not use GJ 2.0 on live environments. It is for Beta testing and feedback; not an "early look". I do not recommend using it for any means other then to further GJ 2.0 development. If issue persists outside of GJ 2.0, please continue this thread; otherwise support for GJ 2.0 is explicitly given on Workgroup forums, thank you.

1.CBSubs Content plugin is public and published.
2.I'm not testing this feature under admin.
3.GJ - Version 2.0 RC5
4.Yes I think this problem only with GJ links. I've tried it just for this link option=com_comprofiler and I got a message "Access to this location not allowed without subscription"

Thank you Krileon

Kyle, what you mean -

It is very very likely CBSubs can not protect "External" URLs. You are forced to make external URLs to GJ as there is no code to add Internal for plugins.

How can I use external URL's to GJ? Why this link what I added is external? I think it's ordinary link.. Actually, I don't understand how to resolve this problem..

Could you explain?

We are not using GJ on a live environment, just co-developing in anticipation of its release.

Do we need to take this back to the GJ workgroups forum where we started? :unsure:

GJ 2.0 is not yet tested with CBSubs. There's no reason for the By Part URL to not work unless the URLs are not properly structured. If using SEF, disable it as it has problems with "External" URLs which is the only type of URL you can make to GJ at this time.

sorry if I am still not understanding:

There's no reason for the By Part URL to not work unless the URLs are not properly structured.

Can you say which, if any, of these URL formats are properly structured:

1.option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbgroupjive&action=groups&func=new&cat=1&Itemid=100065

2.option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbgroupjive&action=groups&func=new&cat=1

3.option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbgroupjive&action=groups

4.option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass

Anton tested all these, but none of them worked. If none of these are proper, can you suggest another format?

If using SEF, disable it

SEF is disabled.

"External" URLs which is the only type of URL you can make to GJ at this time.

I don't understand the difference between "External" URLs and "Internal" URLs. Can you provide an example or two as applied to this situation? For example, are the URLs given above "External" or "Internal" and if they should be changed, changed to what?
