[#5578] CB Activity with russian link to share

Hi.

Thanks for your components.

I would like to ask how to fix the problem with cb activity and "link to share" option.
If i add russian link to share i see only questions instead of link and description.
English links are good.

table collation is utf8_general_ci

the link on the page with the problem is here medicine-prof.com/ru/med-talk

You need to be using latest CB Activity nightly release. Some fixes have already been implemented to better support UTF8 characters pulled from URL metadata. Note the nightly release will not fix existing URLs and will only fix new URLs.

Hi krileon.

Thank you for your answer.
I've installed nightly release and some links work good now.

But if i insert russian link from youtube.com it shows questions marks.

for example i inserted the link
in my cb activity here medicine-prof.com/ru/med-talk

Ok, was able to confirm it's not parsing the title and description properly. I've created a bug ticket to investigate further for next release.
