I am working on a website and it's geared towards collectors. One thing I'm hoping to add at some point is a registry. To be specific, a section where users can register an item that they collect. For example, there are automotive sites where users can register their vehicle by VIN# and other info so enthusiasts can sort of keep tabs on how many of those particular vehicles are still on the road. I'm not using vehicles so I'm looking for something where people can input serial#, manufacturer info, etc. Is there anything out there currently that can handle this sort of thing? I know it would be simple to create a custom tab in CB to hold the info but I'm looking for a component that would create a sorted/searchable list that's easily viewable rather than profile specific lists.

Any info on something like this would be appreciated!
