Don't understand the confusion, you select which user you want to invite via the radio link and click invite. You can customize the error message via language strings if you want it to contain more information.

In this case I searched for Sue. I can not tell which one is Sue Smith or even if there is a Sue in the result. Point being, showing the members name would be very useful.

The name does display, it is based off the formatname field. Please run GJ tools to check if formatname field is properly visible. From your other thread below you've already found this however. ;)
