I have...

Joomla 1.0.12
CB 1.0.2
UHP2 1.2.1

I have joomla sef enabled via global config and it is working fine.

So a guest arrives at a link to one of the sites registered user links, typically in a CB User List, they click on the link and they get the message:

[code:1]You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login. [/code:1]

After which the profile of the user whose link was clicked is displayed.

What Have I forgotten to do?

I'm having the same issue. In my case, I'm using mod_vwarteam. When logged in, I can view the profiles of team members, but those not logged in get the not authorized message. I have the user profile view permissions set to "everybody". Thoughts? :silly:

Firstly, YES no adequate reply here!

Secondly, I unistalled, re-installed Almost everything, turned opensef off, hacked around with the .htaccess, got the native joomla sef working, turned on opensef and voila got the whole shebang working (about 3 hours of work there)

Geoffrey

BTW, I cannot remember exactly what I did, other than re-create the .htaccess which I include here:

# The line just below this section: 'Options +FollowSymLinks' may cause problems

# beginning of line), reload your site in your browser and test your sef url's. If they work,
# it has been set by your server administrator and you do not need it set here.

# Only use one of the two SEF sections that follow. Lines that can be uncommented

# For Standard SEF, use the standard SEF section. You can comment out
# all of the RewriteCond lines and reduce your server's load if you

# If you are using a 3rd Party SEF or the Core SEF solution
# uncomment all of the lines in the '3rd Party or Core SEF' section

This thread might be of use (see end)

" had an old, deleted link to comprofiler that somehow evaded both Menu Manager and Trash. I went directly to jos_menu in the database, deleted the stray values, and boom, it works like a charm."

mike.simbunch.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,26/topic,83.msg2638/

If check to see if you have duplicated the menu item link to Comunity Builder in other menus
