404 Error During Login - Please Help!

17 years 6 months ago #23354 by NoFire
I have version 1.0.1 of CB installed along with the following componenets:

DocMan
ExtCal
Joomlaboard

I am using the CB login and disabled the Joomla login. The problem I am having (a big one!), is that if you open up IE and access the site with WWW in the URL, when you login you get a 404 Error. If you then refresh and try to login again, no problem. This happens EVERY time like clockwork. However, if you try to access the site the same way but leave out the WWW and just enter nameofmysite.com and then login, no problems.

I checked the download section and the 1.0.1 is the latest version that I see. I'm new to CB and this one is killing me. The site is to go live before the weekend and I can't figure this out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit - Also let me note that I tried to disable the CB Login and use the Joomla login, same problem. All was fine prior to the install of CB.

Have you set a redirection page after log in?
If you did, you might check if this page also works when you're on www.

There is no Login Redirection URL set. I also tried setting one with the same results.

Oh and it works fine once I refresh as well. I also have OpenSEF installed.

OK, I was able to solve my problem by installing the latest version of OpenSEF...

OpenSEF 2.0.0-RC5_SP2
