When a new user registers, how do I remove my domain name from appearing in the subject line of the approval and confirmation emails?

In my registration config I am allowed to enter in a custom subject line and body, yet it still insert my domain name into the subject line without letting me turn it off.

I have a domain forward on, so the domain that is auto filling is not the domain that I want my guests to see.

How can I remove this?
