Thanks for the prompt reply Rapunzl.

I have CB1.2, Captcha 2 RC4, Privacy.

Not sure about the connections though. But to be honest I haven't looked into that facility.

I'm also not so sure I require / want the subscriptions plugin.

Instead of using contacts, use a new Member List for each "category" and use Filter for each connection (category) type. This way, some members can belong to more than one category too.

Hopefully this is what you're looking for. ;)

No, that's not what I am looking for. It's possible to maken multiple lists, but the function/ position of the contact is not mentioned.

I realy think that the functionality described below is wanted by many people. E.g. sportclubs and other associations are using joomla and cb contacts.

with kind regards,

JP

It's highly recommended that you subscribe to the documentation. CB is very versatile and has tons of functions you are likely overlooking without realizing it.

If you want a "Position" or "Occupation" field to be included in lists, you only need to create the field and add the field to your list in the list parameters.

Thinks for the quick reply.

I know that I can add a field and name them for example 'Position or Occupation', but in the all the list's I will have the same "Position" or "Occupation", and that's not what I'm looking for.

Example with a Football/ sportsclub:
In one list (board of the sportsclub) I'm a 'chairman' and in another (sponsorcommittee ) I am a secretary and in a third list I'm a member of a football team, and mine position is 'forward'

So, In all the lists I must have a different occupation. That is what I need.

With kind regards,

JP
