You need an avatar with cute puppy dog eyes like Jurgentje. Only kidding.
Woof! *waggy tail*
I can really imagine they're having a ton of work...
We have to distinguish 2 things here:
1. What the community (lots of individuals) want
2. What the community (small subset) can do
The two are continually in interaction... and sometimes people will get a little anxious in their requests (hoping to appeal on the labradorish "will to please" instinct of many Open Source Programmers?)
And the job Beat and Nick (and a few others, I can imagine) do, is gratefully devoured. Still... sometimes we're really anxious. (f.e. if you look at how long Docman is postponing the switch to native Joomla 1.5, that really frustrates me)
And I think that's where the wife of a dedicated programmer comes in play: she'll give a little bit of feedback when the programmer is drowning in the lines of code to get things done...
Thanks for the feedback (and erh... if - after a long day of programming during the family vacation - please scratch him behind his ear, and forgive him)
