It is now the 12th December 2008. Is there an update as to the release of CB Subs?

I usually opt for the freeby software versions, but I have purchased CB a week or so ago so I am now sort of committed for the CB route as I don't want to waste money.

Does anybody know the location of any of the beta sites? I'd really like to see what this looks like.... I had decided on using AEC, but now hearing this plugin might return from vaporwareland, I'd like to see it before doing anymore development.
