How to seperate menu & connections

15 years 9 months ago #64161 by ghog
Well so far everything has run seamlessly and I have to say you guys have done an awesome job. In the menu options you have added a "user profile edit" item which is very useful so now I want to remove/hide the core menu tab. Is there a way to do this without losing the connections tab?

Hi,

why you dont remove the menu and do the connectiontab with "tag replacement" (search in forum for it) ?

well I got half way there. I found a topic on how to create which made sense and then I found this code:

<span class="yourCSSclassForYourStyling">[menu class="yourCSSclassForYourStyling" caption="&91;Request Connection!&93;" img="" ] _UE_MENU_MODERATE : _UE_REPORTUSER [/menu]</span>

But it was for reporting a user so then I tried this:

<span class="yourCSSclassForYourStyling">[menu class="yourCSSclassForYourStyling" caption="&91;Request Connection!&93;" img="" ] _UE_MENU_MODERATE : _UE_CONNECTION [/menu]</span>

But that didn't work adn I'm not sure what the correct reference for connect is. I have no idea when it comes to script and stuff and would appreciate any guidance.:)
